We’re excited to announce we’ve collaborated with the incredible OPTICAL POET, AKA Tarrance Lackran; may we introduce you to the TFC (Time for Change) glasses chain. 

100% of the profits of this chain go towards OYES, a charity set up to fund children of colour from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the USA go to Opticianry school. 

OYES (Open Your Eyes Scholarship Program) is designed to support high school students in marginalised communities throughout the United States who have an interest in pursuing a career in the optical industry. This incredible program supports selected students through monetary scholarships to opticianry school, paid internships and mentorship and as of January 2021, more than $150,000 has been raised for the scholarship program. 

The TFC glasses chain is a riff on the Optical Poet’s favourite FRAME CHAIN: the PEARLY QUEEN meets PEARLY PRINCESS. We played with a black glass bead and a shorter figaro chain for a monotone chain with contrasting textures.
